A Brief History of this site.

This site has been produced and is regularly maintained by Phil Round (stranglers fan). It is not the official site of the stranglers, details of the Official stranglers site can be found on my links page.

This site was started in late 1995 out of a frustration on my part of not being able to find anything on the internet in connection with the group. The first version appeared on compuserve when they first introduced home pages to their customers, later I changed provider and the site was based on the servers of the Liverpool based ISP Cybase (below Radio City) where it remained for approximately one year before moving to BTInternet.
The site is now on the servers of Tiscali.
